Become a Volunteer –
Change Lives and Our Community

Youth Builders empowers the young people of St. Louis through hands-on learning, mentorship, and skill-building – whether through our Tiny Homes Project, Afterschool Program or Women with Skills Program. By joining our team of caring adult volunteers, you support youth as they gain real-world experience, academic support, and the guidance they need to thrive in life.

How Can You Help

Fill educational gaps: Tutor, mentor, and lead enrichment workshops, so students gain academic confidence and skills that reach far beyond the classroom.

Guide hands-on learning: Whether through the Afterschool Program or the Tiny Homes Project, work alongside youth as they develop practical skills that connect classroom learning with real life.

Mentor and motivate: Share life lessons, build trust, and help young individuals practice teamwork, leadership, and mutual respect.

Inspire new horizons: Lead creative projects, group activities, or team-building experiences that spark new interests, develop new skills, and build friendships.

Create community impact: Empower youth to see the value of their own work as they contribute to building homes, revitalizing neighborhoods, and creating a brighter future for St. Louis.

Volunteers make all the difference – helping kids learn, develop skills, and discover their potential. By showing up, you create stability, a sense of belonging, and leadership that lasts well beyond the school year.
